After looking it over and doing a complete workup, they found that it was off-brand brakes and that we had 80% left on them. (Some off brand just squeak.) Okay, so my Z4 has this weird squeaky sound in the steering column that I was freaked out about.  I am always super intimidated to deal with repairman as a female and just have it in my brain that I will be overcharged. For a while now, my car has been making strange noises that I thought were coming from the tires. I took the car into just tired and they couldn't find a thing in their test drive.
